  • Integrate and streamline operations to improve business efficiencies and your interactions with us so we may better support your needs
  • Enhance your ability to engage with other perioperative professionals online
  • Ensure that your data is protected by the latest robust security measures

How Does This Impact You?

  • The AORN mobile app
  • Applications for AORN or Chapter awards, grants, and volunteering

Tip #1

No. While AORN is updating this important technology, there will be no access to the learning management systems for your education courses or CH evaluations. We will be in communication with education administrators with recommendations and options for your learners.

The best course of action is to complete activities prior to November 30, 2023.  Your learners will be able to resume access once our platforms are live again.

When our systems upgrade is complete, you will need to reinstate your monthly membership and add updated payment information to your profile in our new system to continue your monthly membership. Your monthly membership subscription payment method will be deleted, and any monthly payment set to occur in December and beyond will not be processed.   To minimize the disruption to your member benefits while we transition systems, we are offering a courtesy 30-day extension of your monthly membership.

The monthly membership subscription for Periop 101 Graduates will no longer be offered. Your payment method stored on file will be deleted and any monthly payments set to occur in December and beyond will not be processed. Due to this change, we are automatically granting a 30-day extension of your current membership. You will be able to renew your membership in a different category once our technology update is complete.

AORN programs, including access to education courses, continuing education credits, and member resources will be interrupted during the downtime.

Beginning December 1, AORN will begin a significant upgrade of our online systems that we anticipate may last approximately two weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience.

AORN has been planning a significant upgrade and replacement of our online management system and consolidation of platforms for many months. These will enable us to be more efficient and effective in supporting our members, customers and the entire perioperative community that relies on AORN for practice recommendations, education and professional development.

Not during the downtime. We encourage you to complete your evaluations for any CNE contact hours prior to November 30, 2023. Once the systems upgrade is completed, you’ll be able to obtain CH again.
